On Wednesday, August 28th, at the Agra 2024 fair, the Biotechnical Faculty successfully hosted a meeting at their stand. Agra, an International Agricultural and Food Fair, attracted over 100,000 visitors this year.
We met with Mr. Miran Božič, Director of Planika, along with Food Technologist Ms. Nina Pirih and Maintenance and Investments Technician Mr. Jernej Vogrič. Also present were Mr. Jure Vetršek, a representative of IRI LJ, and Ema Luna Karara Geršak, representing the Biotechnical Faculty.
The meeting was relaxed yet productive, focusing on energy solutions that IRI LJ had previously presented during our last visit to Planika. We also addressed broader energy and operational challenges the company is facing and arranged a future visit to Planika by EENOVA partners in October.
At the stand, we used the EENOVA roll-up banner to introduce the project to fair visitors, explaining its goals and objectives. A student and two staff members helped spread the word and provided information about the project to interested attendees. The Agra fair attracted a large number of people, and our stand welcomed several (former) students, alumni, former employees, and other casual visitors.
